Inspired by our love for the good old-fashioned apple pie, Pomme is definitely a crowd-pleaser as well. Made from a combination of citrusy green and aromatic red apples, to form a citrusy green apple compote and a luxurious apple jelly! Layered with a light chocolate sponge scented with Calvados, and topped with a crisp and aromatics cinnamon sable!
The cake was really pretty at first sight, taste of the cake was unexpectedly delicious with a good mix of sourness and sweetness. That being said, it would have been good to alert consumers that there were alcohol present in sponge cake.

Pretty cake but unimpressive flavour
Ordered Pomme cake after seeing good reviews but the cake turned out below expectations. Tasted exactly like apple crumble just less sweet. No one was impressed. Disappointing.
