Decadent Dark Chocolate

Gifted the cake to a friend as a birthday surprise.My friend gave a 2 thumbs up for the flavourful taste of the cake .

IN the last couple of years, I've bought cakes for almost every birthday for each of the family members.
each time, the family would be more than satisfied with the cake.
The cakes always brought a present surprise.
Never was it needlessly sickly sweet nor was it dull sponge. it was always a very careful balance of thin sponge for some volume but just as much cream with the flavors advertised.

This Dark Chocolate cake was an excellent example of great balance. Not sickly sweet but closer to good chocolate that left you wanting for a second piece. as it wasn't sweet to the point where a second slice would make you guilty. no. a second slice felt right.

The service team was also very kind in their help. Due to my own mistake, they were still able to salvage an otherwise foregone birthday disaster.
I thank them for their efforts and would be most happy to continue supporting them for many years to come.

The chocolate used in this cake was great, but unfortunately the cake layers were quite dry. Hopefully it's a one-off as this could be a really good cake!
