I've ordered this blueberry shortcake every time it has come into season, it's always exceptional in taste and presentation. If you are a blueberry and shortcake lover, this is THE cake.
This was my first time ordering a birthday cake from Nesuto. I chose the 16cm size for two persons. It turns out that the 10cm size is enough for 3-4 persons to eat. When it came to taste, it was really astonishing. The blueberries were super big and fresh, and the moment it hit my mouth. There was this intense floral aroma. The Chantilly cream was just as amazing-you could actually see the vanilla seeds on the surface, which was the best proof of its rich vanilla flavour. The perfect combination of blueberries and vanilla cream was rich and thick but not overly sweet, which completely captivated my family. In contrast, the sponge cake was a bit of a letdown. It felt like it had absorbed too much moisture, being a bit wet and soft, and was overly sweet, failing to blend perfectly with the cream in terms of texture. I look forward Nesuto to creating more amazing cakes.
